Autosure would like to advise its customers that it will be transferring its mechanical breakdown, extended warranty and credit related payment protection insurance portfolios from Vero Insurance New Zealand Limited (“Vero”) to DPL Insurance Limited (“DPL”).
DPL operates as a subsidiary of Turners Limited. Turners Limited is an integrated financial services group with a primary focus on the automotive sector. In the market for over 30 years, Turners has strong expertise in insurance and financial services products. Turners is listed on the NZX. The Autosure products are complimentary to DPL’s existing insurance offerings. DPL has a Financial Strength Rating of B+ (Good) with a stable outlook from A.M. Best.
The transfer of insurance policies from Vero to DPL is proposed for the 31 March 2017, but is subject to Reserve Bank of New Zealand approval.
If you have an Autosure policy, your policy will continue to provide cover on the same terms and there will be no change to your rights and obligations under your policy.
